Not read the article but iirc if you play for The Rangers or Celtic you can actually bet on football no problem just as long as you know you've also got to pay the fee at the SFA. This fee in known as a fine and is usually about what you'd spend on a days bets. You'll also get a day off work suspended which gives you even more time to place even more bets!
