    Thort tha mite ev gon fothat Portuguese Dish Jules , Black Pork with Chestnuts , cooked slowly in oven fo 2hrs , 10 mins befoor serving , pop a large Baking Apple in , ( cored not peyled tho) absolutely bootiful

    Cut slice of crusty bread covered wi the jelly bit of the drippin. Mugga teear to wesh it darn.

    I cant believe Im agreeing with a Blunt again on here Rodney lad lol, but Id also go for the meat n tatie pie and a tasty sauce/relish as well. Especially now that we're into these colder evenings/nights.

    Don't know about winter dishes I eat all that's been mentioned all year round one of my favourites is braising steak or brisket with onions and carrots spuds and thick gravy slow cooked topped on a Yorky

    I was brought up on meat n tatie pies Rod, and/or a bit of beef n onion as well. And the sauce or relish adds to it doesnt it, do you go with spicy chilly, or a tasty garlic & onion instead etc. (Im getting hungry now just thinking about this)
