    For some good old English winter Dishes ?
    Hash n Pancakes
    Sausage , Liver , and onions
    steeped peys, ham shank n dumplings
    Panacalti .

    Brazing stake, mash potato's, cabage, ternip, carrots , Yorkshire puddings in a pigs feet and cow heal gravy. Followed by a apple and back berry pie and custard. Then lig darn for an hour.

    I allus thort Panacalti was a name mi Mam made up , not so aapparently , it's a north eastern treat in cold weather , Arrs wa big slices ov tatey , Corned Beef, and a big onion, cooked in a joint tin wi lard , thick gravy and other vegetables if you wernt too poor ? 2 slices ov Mothers pride wi Co-op best butter lathud on anorl , all low cholesterol mind

    Ooam med meyt n tatie pie wi plenty o pepper is a winner. Tooad int oyle wi onion gravy, shepherds pie are nice int cowd weather but mi favourite ez to be rooast rib o beerf done rare n seasoned wi mustard parder wi Yorkshire puds, rooast taties, rooasted onions n hossraddish. Kin beaudiful

    A couple of slices of bread and marmite, that should put a bit of lead in thee pencil.

    We’ve been having a barney in our house since we came back from Holiday on the 11th ....... I’ve been asking for Meyt and Tatey pie.... she says it’s too early....
    She’s given in and we are evvin it next week....
    Watch the weather....it’ll be 30degrees !
