Used to rush home from my day shift in the steelworks to see Rainbow. (Zippy, Bungle, George and Geoffrey, Rod, Jane and Freddie). Used to love Zippy's merciless taunting of Bungle and George. Reminds a bit of some on here.

Used to love it when Zippy tried to eat things as the greedy puppet he was but stuff just fell out of his gob because he had no throat. Think Bungle (The actor) got done for drunken driving once which was very amusing because I pictured him in his bear gear when he got nicked.

Geoffrey was the man who tried his best to keep them in some sort of order Harry Corbett and sootyesque not always with much luck.. Liked the theme music as well.

Don't think me mum could quite see my attraction to the prog but there you go.

RIP Geoffrey.
