Thread: Crunch time

    Crunch time

With the Celtic game rearranged for their semi-final, our next five confirmed matches are:

    Killie away
    Livi home
    St Johnstone home
    St Mirren away
    Dundee home

It's the sort of run which is potentially season-defining - win four and we'll have breathing space going into the next tough batch. Struggle and there's no excuses of bad luck or superior opposition, we're officially in deep, deep trouble.

Robinson has - despite near constant concerns - dug us out of every hole we've been in since his appointment and needs to work some magic again. 10 points is a fair par to aim for. More is a very good haul, 8-9 leaves us treading water with our current concerns and anything less than eight will see him under serious pressure I reckon.

I reckon 9-10pts is a reasonable expectation from that run. If we were to get less than 6 I’d be seriously worried...

10 points - nothing less will do!
If I'm an MFC player looking at those fixtures, I'm bustin a gut over those games to give us some breathing space and a platform to go forward. However, given players in general these days, I'd be surprised they even know who they're playing beyond the Killie game?

So even if we win on Saturday we'll only have seven...

Would the switch of formation and style, along with another win, earn a reprieve?

    Yes...no danger. Onwards and upwards.
