    Prediction League - Southampton

The Saints come marching in this weekend, hopefully to be met with a sound defeat at the hands of Wolves. They struggled last season, fired their manager then hired Mark Hughes. I thought he'd be chopped over the summer, but he remained on the touchline. I think he could be one of the first managers fired this season in the Prem. After back-to-back promotions in 2011 & 12, the Saints became one of the surprise clubs in the Prem. Often thought to be facing relegation, they finished 14th, 8th, 7th, 6th, and 8th in their first five seasons back in the top division. Everyone wondered how they continued to finish in the top half despite losing their top players year after year after year. Then last season came and they narrowly avoided relegation. Seems like it's all call home to roost now for Saints. I don't expect they'll be finishing top half this season either. They are currently 1-2-3 on the season with the losses coming from Everton, Leicester, and Liverpool. They have beaten Palace and drew Burnley and Brighton. I would be surprised if they finished any higher than 15th or so. Their danger man is Liverpool loanee Danny Ings. After seasons of injuries, it's good to see him playing again and he leads their squad with 3 goals. Hojbjerg has 2 and Bertrand has 1. They've concded 2+ goals in four of their six matches so far. I like Wolves chances at home.

I read that Southampton have sold their 3000 ticket allocation, so there should be a very good atmosphere. Looking for a 2-0 victory.
