F00king awesome display away from home in derby rival against an in form team. Last season going down a goal (especially one as good as it was), we would have gone down.

We didn't, we don't, and we f00king well won't, THAT'S the difference, and long may it continue.

And when Roofe and Hernandez are back, watch out.
Agreed, Not to mention Beradi & Bamford, Bamford was waiting in the wings to get in when/if Roofe had a dip but bad luck hit us when he also got injured, Beradi no centre half but has been immense, Lets not forget Tyler Roberts has also been very good, Hes no Roofe or Bamford but good back up, We have good competition for places with the likes of Dallas, Forshaw, Baker and others, Our squad isnt as depleted as some make out.We have cover on both full back positions.Happy days at the minute just want us to get back on the winning trail,

I live in the Barnsley Area and alot of Owls and Blunts fans here and there all saying how good we look and its best Leeds side they have seen for at least ten years ( Altough they hate to admit it) and i concur..

    Positives:

A very good performance away from home against a team high on confidence after a good win themselves.
Fitness levels still high and most players were still running hard at the end.
    64% possession, 25 shots and 11 corners.
    Saiz and Klich were excellent.
Still without, arguably, our best 2 players (so far this season).

Negatives (or, if you prefer, not quite so positives):

With that possession and number of shots we really need to put teams away if we want to be in the mix at the end of the season.
Our conversion rate from set pieces is poor. Douglas was the highest assist provider in the division last season. Jansson, Cooper and Roberts need to get on the end of more crosses / corners.
Roberts looked out of his depth so we shouldn't get carried away by one good performance so far.
Cooper missed a sitter of a header at the end.
Alioski keeps getting into good positions but seems to take the wrong option (goes with the wrong foot, tries to bring it down rather than head it or blazes it over the bar).
Douglas could have had a hat trick himself.
Ayling not as good as he has been; nor was Harrison (his worse game for a while).
Several players (Phillips, and Harrison in particular) gave away simple balls.

Nonetheless we would have taken this place at the start of the season so fingers crossed for Roofe, Hernandez and Berardi to return soon (not really arsed about Bamford).

Have to disagree with some of your not so positives to an extent.
Ayling is a huge influence IMO
Harrison looked tidy and didn't think he had a bad game at all.
Saiz was poor - gave the ball away more than usual - passing wasn't as good either, and needs to start having a go occasionally - as Klitch does.

Agree about Allioski and Cooper though.

Tough week still coming up with Hull away and Brentford to come - if we're top a week on Monday I will be very very happy!

Fair enough, but I assume you don't disagree with the most important point that with 64% possession and 25 shots we should be winning those kind of matches?

Awesome display no doubt about it but lacking the killer instinct..which is what I was referring to regarding another quality striker.

That's not to say I am unhappy with the effort we put in..we bossed that game for 70 mins and am still trying to get me head round the fact we didn't pick up all 3 points ffs!

Wednesday were defending for their lives. Goalbound shots went off their heels, knees, heads etc. Some they didn't even know about. Another game we'd av have 3 in.

In other news..after the lord mayors parade..Garry Monksnakes team are 2-0 down at home to Ipswich.

Just thought I would mention it..especially after seeing the smug arrogant pr1ck picking up his trophy for 'performance of the week' from sky..his interview just confirmed it to me that he talks absolute b0ll0cks!
