When Trew was selling the club, there was interest from a minority shareholder of the New York Yankees interested looking at the books. I can't remember his name but I think he was the ex husband of one of the New York Yankees majority owner's daughter? Maybe it's a crossed wire with this?

I'm not sure I can get with this one, a rumour account just pops up and starts spamming this around? I know Hardy was made a substantial offer after he took over from another interested party during the Trew negotiation, I think someone has been googling and putting 2 and 2 together and making 5
