I think the relationship Mike Martin has with Jim Mac, that it will be him as the new man in charge. I would like to see the board take their time and get this one right. I don't care who it is as long is they are a good fit.

I would like to think outside the box with a few names. Maybe a bit outside out reach but they are managers who need to prove their self's after disappointments else where.

    P.Lambert
    O.Coyle
    Mo. Ross
Gary Bowyer-( former Blackburn and blackpool)

I do like the sound of R. Neilson or trying to get big Drunken Duncan hahaha.

Not to go over old ground but Tommy Wright is not coming to United!

This is when all the things that TTT and Frank have been saying have to come into play. This will be the board's appointment. He needs to be given serious time (I've always said 3 seasons). We've changed every time we hit serious trouble and it hasn't once got us out of it. We need somebody who can bridge the youth set-up and first team to bring some stability to the squad and club. I don't think this squad of players have any right to win this league. Fyvie is the standout but it will be a struggle to win this league. The right man could unite and organise the side and we could win but any manager coming in now can not be labelled a failure if we don't get the promotion.

    He’s on the brew,
    Were a big club.
Let’s think like a big club!
I remember levins first interview, when he said the whole club had a glass half empty attitude.
And that didn’t turn oot too bad.
Killie thought big and got there man.
**** we are Dundee United- we should have top guys flinging themselves at us.

    But we don't

Surely there is no chance of Dunc coming back? If a sliver of a chance get him in with a strong assistant.

But Shirley tells me there is no chance of this happening.

Surely nobody has seriously suggested Duncan Ferguson?

More chance of Sir Alex Ferguson
