    Kilmarnock - 24h on

There is no hiding from the awful truth. With only four points from seven starts Motherwell have had a rotten start to the league campaign. The manager reckons that hard work and some changes are needed. - External Link

Two very tough games but in our position two wins are a must. If not, serious questions will be asked. We have to win our home games.

I don't know though that hard work alone will achieve much.

Totally agree hard work alone won’t get us through this tricky patch,we have to get back to playing football and not just launching high balls into the opponents area hoping for the best and that includes our free kicks. At the moment we truly look a team devoid of ideas.

Things don't look quite right off the pitch like Robinson being uncharacteristically downbeat in his post match interview and players arguing.

That actually doesn't concern me too much - or rather, it doesn't especially add to the concern that was already there.

A manager coming out with the same stuff following each defeat with no impact is a sure sign the relationship with the players/club has run its course. There's one thing trying to stay positive after an occasional bad performance or bit of bad luck but he'd look like a delusional idiot being upbeat after that display.

As for the players arguing - good. A, er, full and frank exchange of views, about who is doing what, not doing what and quite how the hell we're going to improve is more than needed.

The Nostalgia night on 5th October may be the hi-lite our 2018/19 season as on the pitch/dugout we’re torrid
