He’ll get until we’ve agreed deal with new manager.
Don’t believe for a second he’s being seriously considered. The Tele article reads like it’s made up;
“He’s expected to lead the team into Saturday’s clash”
“could be given more games”
This is a serious question.
A couple of games?
A month?
The rest of the season?
Until its too late?
Nothing against Ellis, just feel that the Board have to make a full statement about how long he gets to 'prove his worth'.

As much as Ellis done ok it would be a nonsense if we don't appoint a new man, really hoping it's just headline stuff just like the tully with the scary suggestions of butcher et al
More important question perhaps is how long does THIS board give the new man whoever they are?
How long will fans give the next permanent manager?
One transfer window? One pre-season? Longer? Less if we are at risk of missing out on the play-offs?
How many managers we had since Wee Jim? Anyone know?
Thankfully they've acted just in time, to maybe potentially save this season with the right appointment.
Ellis will stay as a coach, but hope we can find the right man who will stop us from playing turgid football.
The fans were not responsible for the resigning of Szaba, the board were so they must kop the flak for their poor decision that most could see last season!
Anyway lets hope we do get it right this time.

lead the team into Saturday’s clash
a clash would be nice, much better than a capitulation again.........
We are currently continuing our cycle of decline, it's nightmare stuff really. I really hope we get lucky and strike gold this time.
To be honest, the fans have every right to demand immediate success. We are f*cked unless the incoming manager can deliver that, end of story.
Yes, the board should be looking for someone who has a vision and can build the club back up to where it should be, but his man-management, motivation techniques and tactics are the only focus as far as I'm concerned.
Any managerial candidates who don't believe they can get us promoted with the current players and set-up should not be seriously considered, IMHO.
