    BBC Radio moving . . .

    . . . to the Palmerston Arena is good news as it could be a nice little earner for the club. Colin Colthart who played a first team game for the Doonhamers way back in 1986 has been a stalwart of the station for many years.

    Smashing lad Colin. I think he also played for the Scottish Schoolboys team and the Queens U18’s side the reached the BP Cup Final against Aberdeen at Palmerston

    Coinciding with the BBC move to Palmerston comes the news that their local reporter Willie Johnston has retired
    after 35 years with the corporation. A well - known Queens fan Willie started his career as a reporter with the D. and G.
    Standard in 1977 and was also a familiar face on TVs Reporting Scotland.
