Thread: Ayr on Saturday

  1. #21
Ellis is part of two backroom teams that have failed.
He deserved a chance to stake a claim for the position based on a couple of decent results last time he was caretaker.
The least we could have offered today was to equal Ayr's effort and commitment, they couldn't even do that.

It's not about today in isolation anyway, we need to be dragged into a new era by a capable manager....

Let's hope MM makes up for standing by Csaba, which was silly

Or next weeks opponents, this better not happen

From goalkeeper right through to strikers our squad is riddled with mediocre pish.

Why are people only now realising it? This has been the case for 3 seasons now.

Guy is an utter clown for that decision.
He may be Mr big *******s in business but to go against the vast majority of fans wishes on a football matter is unforgivable.
Here we are even further in the sh1te.

Nail on the head......everything Martin touches turns to dust.....he looks to be worse than Thompson already.

MM seemed to sneak in as chairman with the smoke and mirrors rumors that he was more of a care taker chairman to pace the way for the (imaginary?) American Investors. If things don't improve and he doesn't get a decent manager in, after delaying in the hope of saving money with Ellis, then he is another clown who will have to get tae phuck

Agree it won't matter what manager we get in that squad of players is absolute phish. 3 United legends told me that last week. Although we already knew that to hear it from them made me fearing for the future.
We are in this league for years and look forward to Tayside derbys with Arbroath next season and crowds of less than 3000.

Now this is just doomsday ott stuff bordering on hyperbole*, I've been negative and still am but this takes the biscuit lol

Mike Martin caused this situation we are in this season by standing by Csaba, we've wasted a cup and in all likely hood automatic promotion

A decent manager can drag us into a new era with this squad then make his own changes, he would create an identity, find his best side and get the most out of it, get them playing for him as an effective unit, maybe evergreen restore pride and a feel good factor on the back of that

Again let's not over think this, manager is the most important position at a club our size, we know this from the last twenty years or so

Step up Robbie Neilson or Tommy Wright

*Other options do give me the fear though and then I'll be thinking like that
