    Ipswich v Boro

2-0 Boro without breaking sweat, Ipswich are appalling, there's more advertising at Portman Road than supporters, gonna turn over and watch Leeds, fed up of hearing the dinosaurs voice shouting and bawling.

Why is Pulis always described as a dinosaur? I'm pretty sure we played plenty of attacking football under Hagan, Ashman, Atkinson etc. Even under Don Howe we had players like Astle, Bomber and Willie in action.
Football was never played "The Pulis Way" as far as I know.

I don't think having a strong defence is specifically Pulis's way. Its just a way of playing the game. Strong defence and hit on the break. The Italians started it and we used to think it was amazing back in the 70's.

No playing 9 men on your own 18 yard line. Then banging the ball up the channels to the corner flags expecting the lone forward to chase it is the Pulis way.
