But.... in saying that.... Ritchie in the number 10 role would be my stab too.

Murphy shows enough graft and endeavour to give the wandering Yedlin the same cover Ritchie does. Also Ritchie is the ONLY player we have capable of finishing a chance.

Rafa wont pick him because there is no comminication with him. He has no grasp of the english language at all. That concern has already seen the back of Mbemba.

Last seasons run in has made this season so much harder.

The 10th place finish meant investment was not seen as a necessity (at board room level) while Perez and Diame putting in a few good shifts means we are stuck with their sorry performamces week in week out.

We are solid at the back and our wingers show the odd flash, but central midfield and up front, we would struggle to control games in the 3rd division that our friends are currently not winning enough games in.

I do not envy Rafa, i would not want to pick a team from that squad to attempt to drag us up this league.

    It isnt happening.
You can talk about Mbemba´s english but remember that Kenedy speaks very little english too.

To me whether Muto plays or Perez, etc. doesn´t really matter - I don´t think there is one team selection which is going to flick a switch and transform us. The squad is on a psychological low (not due to Rafa by the way) just now and it´s Rafa´s (difficult) job to try to change that. The team needs to fight and I´ll be spinning cartwheels if we can scrape a draw today.
