Im in favour of reducing both meat production and consumption, and the same with fuel omissions people seem to drive everywhere out of habit and idleness.

Plastics is a hot potato but why cant the idiots at RMBC have a plan to tackle the issue 5 years ago? Simple plastic bottle banks would do as every country lane is spoiled with plastic waste.

As for red meat, well just look at how it affects people on here

You should NEVER assume young Kerr mi lad.Work on hard evidence only like you do in court! It may also suggest I'm not such a bad green after all eh?

Joking apart though and talking of red meat even before my little chat with Kerr I have been cutting down on ham and bacon etc not because of its environmental impact initially but because of its reported link to bowel cancer. Not good stuff for a lot of reasons.

But I am cutting down on my meat consumption for Mr Kerr so all is not lost! (I wasn't bullied into it, honest!)When somebody says:"Hurrah the planet is saved. All hail Rolymiller!" you can all put it down to me and i can get my statue made at last! Just don't make it like Ronaldo's in Madeira though cos it looks nowt like him! Although it does give him the semblance of decent wedding tackle.(So might not be a bad thing though in my case...)

(Hmm...I wonder if I'm allowed a cheese sandwich...?)
Cheese is most commonly produced from cow's milk and as it is the number of cows, the land they occupy and the slurry they produce that are at the root of the issue. You should consume less to reduce your impact on the environment.

All of the above assumes that you actually care about your impact on the environment. On the evidence of this thread it appears that you care far more about having a pop at gf and the wealthy (even though you are wealthy in global terms). In other words, your position appears to be merely an extension of your 'Socialist' politics.

When someone says 'guilty' in court, it's generally taken as fact, with evidence only then coming into it in a limited way.

    Lol.

    PMSL Exile!

I'll have you know Mr Pukka was/ is a big Millers fan and the humble Pukka pie started its life in Rotherham dished up at millmoor and is now a world wide brand!

Ya can stuff ya Barnsley chops and Barnsley Bitter! (And Lineker can stick his Walkers crisps as well!)

(Well not the Barnsley bitter. Glad it made a comeback!)

What are you suggesting stuff is made up in court?

I do care in reality, sometimes you have to have a light hearted moment particularly when things are looking a bit gloomy. Genuinely interested on your stuff on cheese by the way because I wondered how that fitted in to the overall picture. So I presume all dairy products aint good then? Which meat is the best then? Chicken?

I am indeed wealthy in global terms. In a perverse way the poor of the World have little to lose if their was a global catastrophe. And if there were any survivors, it would likely to be some little clutch of humans in a remote part of the wotld who would set the ball rolling again and good for them is what I say as long as they don't make the same balls up.

I want the steak one as the steak and kidney one is rank and more kidney than steak.

And would prefer chicken and mushroom one to balti as that one stinks and is anti-social in a football stadium.

What are we going to have instead?

Quorn which is grown in big vats in laboratories (originally by ICI)?

    That really is Frankenstein "food".
