Neilson is the better option, he ticks most of the boxes and done the job at a big Scottish club like Hearts went expectations and handled it
Im not saying that i see McIntyre as our next manager, but then i dont see why you think Nielson will be our saviour.

And im not so sure there was as much expectation as you would like to think there was at Hearts. From the starting point they had, they did the right thing with the fans/Budge/Levein and were realistic about their future with very little expectation. Management of the expectation got them up and helped them have an excellent first season there. Cathro reset the management of that expectation and look at where they are now!

Maybe putting two and two together, but hope Partick are unveiling McIntyre instead!!
I thought Billy Dodds was a bit defensive yesterday about his fellow pundits slagging off Dundees pre-match songs played on 78s. Maybe reading just enough into it for him and McIntyre joining them next week!

He put the expectation on them himself and made them believe they were beget then Sevco and hibs, there is always expectation on a club like Hearts especially in this league

Saviour is a bit much, just the best available candidate that ticks most of the boxes we need to try and pull us out of this rut and build something good over the next few seasons

Why would he go there in advance of Archibald sacking, Partick might have kept up their good home record and won

He knew Partick away was our fixture next week, at least that's what I'm hoping

Hope so, however a guy on east football saying he will be Thistle manager (will be a fkn joke if so) , and a Thistle fan elsewhere saying he will be our manager, ffs.
