    St Johnstone pumped, Swanson suspended

St Johnstone were just dismantled 0-6 (0-5!!) by Celtic...Danny Swanson will be suspended for our game on Oct 20 with an idiotic red card.

If - and this is a massive if - we can somehow find a win, we'll go eighth.

It would be no more than a tiny first step, arguably only papering over cracks, but it would give us a much needed boost and lift some pressure ahead of the crucial St Mirren/Dundee double-header.

That's another game we should be winning, just like yesterday was but we failed miserably in. Obviously it's a bit away yet but I really don't see it being any different/better than yesterday and the best result we'll get will be a point in another drab spectacle with very little entertainment on offer.

All of the goals St.Johnstone lost were from players taking control of the ball and running at the centre of the St.Johnstone defence forcing them further and further back on top of their keeper before scoring easy goals. Something we will not be able to do if we persist to launch high balls up to the likes of Bowman and Main. IMO and only my opinion I think our manager has to change things by playing a 4-4-2 system with hopefully a back four of Tait, Aldred, Hartley and Dunne if fit.
midfield of Cadden, Bigirimana, Campbell or Grimshaw, and Rose.
    front two. Johnson and Turnbull.
Leaving the need for the ball to be played on the deck and to get players to run at the opposition with the ball . The game is all about results and IMO we couldn’t play any worse with this starting team than we have in recent weeks.
