This is how we’ve done 8 games after we made the crazy decision to sell Bradshaw
The 4 games with Bradshaw we got 10 points, scored 10 and didn't concede.
As Animal has said, Bradshaw was ideal for our system. He chased and harried, plus he carried a goal threat.
To get less than a million for him just before the window shut was terrible business.
he's hardly kicked a ball since he went to Millwall, and they're looking nailed on for relegation.
If we were going to sell Bradshaw, we should have got more money, AND strengthened.
We are paper thin up front & at full back.
I'm delighted with the players and management team and think we're more than capable of automatic promotion.
The Bradshaw sale might mean the difference between going up or not.
I hope not.
Our midfield did great on Saturday, but we still only just got away with it.
Jacob Brown was no threat at all on his own.
Much as I like Brown & Williams they need to be introduced slowly.
Williams could easily have cost us a couple of points against Luton.
Despite a great start to the season we're only 3 points above 7th.
For me I look at it as 'it could have been worse', and Im just appreciating how well we've done so far, despite being a bit lightweight in certain areas.
Before last 2 games a said the squad were paper thin, we won both comfortably wi players havin debuts an allsorts, what the hell do i know?
