    Spurs stadium

Looking at that terrace/stand behind the goal which is gonna be the biggest capacity in Britain got me thinking aboot Dens.

Never saw it rammed with Dees myself but the provie rd end musta looked good back in the day.

Anybody any idea or guess what the capacity would have been?

Never saw the hibs side terrace open all the way to the top either but was still there when I started going to games, must have been pretty spectacular when full.

The last big attendance I was at was the Scottish Cup quarter final replay against Hibs in March 1974 when there were over 31,000 at the game played on a Monday evening. The original replay was due to be played on a Wednesday evening but it was cancelled because of heavy rain flooding the pitch.

Yet the doonsters claim to be the 'big' team, because pre-79 doesn't count.
