    Kevin Long Good News

Really glad Kevin Long has signed a longer term contract. He is steady and comes across as a good professional. At the moment I would rather have Kevin than Ben as Ben is not doing it and BG is still injured

Agreed, there are far worse defenders than Kevin in the Prem. Yes, Mee is looking suspect at the moment. My concern however is our Midfield; for which there are not enough players, options and quality.

I suppose it makes sense to pay him a bit more and tie him to the club long term, if he left signing a replacement at this level wouldn't be cheap. So it's a sensible move, it's good news, but not something that has me cracking open a bottle of Bolly.

I suspect Tarkowski will be gone in the New Year and Long will be fine in the Championship.

It rubs off when you are a Corbynista ---never any reason for optimism ---just go with the negative flow.

Once a player moves up a gear and peeps into the £100-200k a week international player elite window, I am fairly certain he would want to join them! The rumour mill is just starting to grind...

Alf I recently saw them at Cardiff and at home to Huddersfield, in all sincerity I cannot feel any genuine cause for optimism.
