Although a bit disappointing, I wouldn't categorise Tom Thorpe as a "worst signing" - Halford and Collins, for example, were worse. Strong Nottingham Forest theme to all this... and to think that we sold them Barry Lyons for next to nowt!

Halford was sensational and the best player of the Warnock period..

He had a few decent games under Warnock, the rest of the time he was awful, and often didn't even look like he wanted to be at the NYS. This was somebody who was allegedly the highest paid player at the club at the time!
