Thread: The Royal Wedding

"All good, clean, harmless fun." Except they own the castles, the land, the wealth, the privilege and unless we do something about it, this inherited nonsense will just run and run.

What an ideal opportunity for all the members of the Labour Party and those Lords and Ladies in the House of Lords to deny any inhertiances to their families etc. and show their true socialist feelings in bequeathing all their wealth to the good of the country. What an example this would be to everyone, particularly those having to use the food banks etc.
Surely this sort of thing has to be driven by these true socialists to show that this is their true belief and that they will be doing everything they can to ensure that all wealth and privilege will be removed from the country.

What an example to set to everyone. I am surprised that it has never been done before. Surely people like Kinnoch, Blair et al could have started the ball rolling.

If Blair and Kinnock are socialists, then I really support Basturd Rovers!

It's not often I say would this, but Tony Blair is dead right.

This week he said Labour is "more left-wing than ever" - and he's completely right.

Thanks to true left wing activists who are transforming the Labour Party into everything Blair tried to destroy - a socialist, democratic party that truly works for the many not the few, and certainly the Jew!

So with this return to socialism for the people, surely we can expect that all these current socialists will deny their heritage and help the country out by donating what they have when the leave this mortal coil. Having set this example, when they next become the government of the country, they can then set about making it law for all others of whatever persuasion to do the same, therefore, achieving your objective.
They don't have Blair or anyone else to object to any of this in their quest to become the peoples' party and I am sure that Jeremy will be keen to bring this into being ---as long as he doesn't use Diane to do the maths!

Yes, however, you are active within the Labour Party so you could make it your way to do something about it and get everyone else on board ---I am sure that the Daily Mirror and the Guardian and the BBC could really help you in your cause.
I do not have any political affiliation and no strong feelings about people, or Royals, inheriting things, however, you are obviously in a better position to affect peoples' thinking because you are a member of the party.

Hey guys, has this 'Royal' thread now mysteriously turned into a 'Politics' thread ?.

No acido, it is just my suggestion that if the majority of people are in agreement with BT's view " Except they own the castles, the land, the wealth, the privilege and unless we do something about it, this inherited nonsense will just run and run." ---then there could be a solution to the problem by Labour setting the example.
I only mentioned Labour because BT is active within the Party so he has a voice, unlike myself who, as I said above has no particular affiliation or thought on people inheriting things.
