    our Norman Hunter

Now then you Burnsley lads, I know this blokes name is a foul swear word on here of course... but bear with me here lol.

Come on eh, big Norm wasn't that bad after all was he, maybe he was just misunderstood after all lol.
And when he came to us at Burnsley, he/Norm was more of a manager rather than a player in those days.

Who is Frank Casper anyway, does he still send Xmas & Valentines cards to our Norm every year ?.

When the revolution comes, your Norm will be one of the first for the firing squad! Dirty, evil, cheating Yorkshire basturd.

Now ,now BT , a nice sunny cool Saturday morning a nice fresh breeze comes through my window, and complaining again?? Think about that Mary J Blinge song. ''Love is all we need ''

    ''Love is all we need,
    To make everything complete,
If we try to live together
    ....and be happy!''

We are born crying, live complaining, and die disappointed.

It's pishing down here Balan, my disposition is less than sunny, Burnley are not playing and the Child Bride is insisting on me getting the tins of gloss and the paint brushes out!

Well said BT . Acido must find it funny and seems to keep reminding us of the fact that us Clarets don't like the dirty Yawkshire Bastid because he ruined Caspers career.. Must be the sick Yawkshire humour they have..

Never mind Alf, I'll remind you about it a few more times during this season.

Btw everybody, he is a geordie and not a Yorkie, as he was born in Gateshead!.

It could be argued that, because he is from Gateshead, he is not really a Geordie, however, that is another argument! What is beyond doubt is that he was a dirty bugger in an equally dirty team!

By the way, acido, I enjoyed your game today and you scored three lovely goals with George Moncu putting in a tremendous display.

Joking aside Sub, I know what Norm was all about of course and he was one of those players who you wanted in your team, rather than playing against your team. Bear in mind though when he was at his worst, he was at Leeds, and NOT at my team lol.

As for the game today, thanks for those comments Sub. A few fans have told me that tonight on Footymad actually, that as a neutral they really enjoyed the game and the quality of some of our players etc. We're keeping our fingers crossed of course, and hoping for promotion this season, under the German coach Daniel Stendel.

I don't think Hunter was anything out of the ordinary back in those days, most teams had their hard men, no need to list them, we all know who they were, although Leeds had more than most. Thing is with Hunter's tackle on Casper is that it was from behind, six foot at least over the touchline, with the ball long gone. If Frank had been threatening the Leeds goal fair enough, if he had been at least involved in the game fair enough, but he wasn't even on the field of play, and Hunter wrecked his career. Just because he could it seems, that's why we think he's a c-u-n-t.
