    "Fans' chief" Alan Duncan
The self-proclaimed "fans chief" is a trumpet of the highest order...the so-called fans chief decided to ignore my mate and myself during a 2001 trip to south Spain to watch the Dons play 1860 Munich (twice) during the winter break when there was only about 10 Aberdeen supporters that traveled...so he didn't do much fans chiefing there...

Anyone who wants to be “chief” of those feather wearing freaks deserves nothing but ridicule.

So your preference is to play young Celtic players ahead of young Dons players in better form and better developed at this stage.
Says it all about Scottish football.

    Make your mind up then.
Should McLeish be criticised for picking Hendry ahead of Devlin.
A player who in your earlier post is currently is the better than Hendry.

    Fair enough.
    Continue to contradict yourself.

I hunk McLeish should pick the best players on form and leave development to the clubs

The Hendry v Devlin debate is close to call. Devlin has had a very good start to his AFC career, Hendry not so great start to his CFC career. Devlin cost £80k, Hendry cost £1m (I think). Both have potential to improve.

At least McLeish is picking young in-form players with a preference if they play in Scotland. This project will take a few years to come to fruition (it would help if he played people in their proper positions mind you).

I would take poor short term results if it brings longer term benefits.

Transfer fees shouldn't come into it.
As you said above, Devlin is I relatively good form, whilst Henry not so.
So what's the differentiator for International level?
