Trump's a duplicitous scum bug who is enabling the far right wing to murder the "others" who happen not to be white supremacists.

Thank you BT, I'd much rather you talked to me. I don't agree with 90% of what you say, but I'm always prepared to listen. And then fall about laughing.

must say, that's a curiously blasé attitude to British self-determination & sovereignty coming from an arch-Brexiteer.

We don't have any self-determination or sovereignty, we are a member country of the EU and likely to remain so.

Power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely. It also buys silence. MBS probably calculates that as Saudi Arabia is an essential ally of Israel and the United States in their proxy war with Iran he is untouchable by the outside world. His only threat will be if the House of Saud decides he is expendable.

So the CIA say MBS gave the orders for the operation to send an assault team to intercept Jamal Khashoggi at the Saudi Consulate in Istanbul. The lead Saudi prosecutor says MBS knew nothing. As prosecutor he will be seeking the death penalty for 5 as yet unnamed persons. Do we think these trials will be held in an open court or in secret?

I think we all suspect that to be the case outwood, but have the CIA got any definite proof?

As predicted, this issue is blowing over now.

Ah well 59_60 the Saudi’s have drawn their red line. The King and the Crown Prince are untouchable. Trump seemingly will go along with this. Sadly it seems we will go on selling them arms despite the horrors in the Yemen.

What you see from there, from this area we see a different view. Lets have a look at CBS news (Nov 20 th,2018 9:10 pm)

UNITED NATIONS -- "We are horrified that 85,000 children in Yemen may have died because of extreme hunger since the war began," said Tamer Kirolos, country director in Yemen for the non-profit aid organization, Save the Children. "For every child killed by bombs and bullets, dozens are starving to death and it's entirely preventable."
Save the Children's report Tuesday said in Yemen, they "observed a dramatic increase in airstrikes on Hodeida over recent weeks. Increased fighting has also been reported in Taiz, Saada and Sanaa."
"Just over one year ago, the Saudi-led coalition closed off all access to the country, effectively sealing Yemen It was not until six weeks later that the Saudi-led coalition announced ports would reopen temporarily, but key food commodities and fuels later fell by half."Since October 30, U.N. sources have observed nearly 800 separate incidents of shelling, armed clashes, or air strikes across Yemen,"
"Fighting, blockades and bureaucracy" have forced Save the Children and other aid organizations to bring ***** humanitarian supplies for the north of the country through the southern port of Aden, a diversion that can slow delivery times by three weeks. Meanwhile, international criticism of the Saudis' handling of the offensive in Yemen has increased along with the civilian death toll from the war.

Ok, we have the idea the Saudis are with the local government in conflict with a bunch of rebels the Houthis. The Americans and Britain arm the Saudis, we know this, but who arms the Houthis?? Yet they fire rockets into Saudia Arabia, hold large area of the Yemen, how can a poor bunch of rebels do this? Iran arms the Houthis, with in fact no meantion of Iran's part in this in the report. Added to this Hezbullah in Lebanon has trained the Houthis!! Iran ,Hezbullah and Houthis are all linked via Shia Islam! It's the Houthis that hold the port of Hodeidah, supplies can not get through, yet milllions are starving ......and we blame arms supply to the Saudis??
Hodeidah is the only port on the Red Sea ,but whoever holds that port could in theory hold the passage of shipping through the Suez canal, and block Israeli, Jordanian and Saudi shipping!!!
