The futility of war to which I constantly refer is Europe's monarchy and ruling class who inspired the death and wounding of a total number of military and civilian casualties in World War I of more than 38 million people.
There were over 17 million deaths and 20 million wounded, making it amongst the deadliest conflicts in human history. The total number of deaths included about 11 million military personnel and about 7 million civilians and to what end? And this born into obscene wealth and privilege tosser still wants us to bow and scrape to him...

Have a read up on Russian history BT, while you're having that nice cup of tea, then tell us how many millions of their own people the Socialists in Russia managed to see off outside of WW2. But don't stop at Russia, research the number of people estimated to have been killed by Socialist regimes worldwide, and then come back and tell us what a threat to us all that Prince Charles and his family is.

I don't see any bowing and scraping BT, at official functions etc due respect is paid, but that's all perfectly normal for Heads of State in civilised societies. The vast majority in this country never get to meet Royalty, so they don't bow and scrape, but what they do do, is enjoy Royal visits and Royal events, weddings, birthdays, anniversaries in their millions, they pay their respects in their millions at Royal funerals, all without bowing and scraping. To be honest BT their popularity bemuses me somewhat as well, but if millions of people enjoy something it's not for me to deny them or ridicule them for the harmless pleasure they so obviously get just from the very existence of our Royal family.

Quite what a supposed man of the people such as yourself is doing ridiculing millions of his fellow citizens for such innocent pleasures also bemuses me. Maybe, like most Socialists, you're not really a man of the people at all, you just find it useful to claim you're acting on their behalf in order to further your outdated ideological project ? When they don't fall into line with your lefty thinking though, you patronise them, ridicule them, denigrate them.
