Stephen Ireland Short Term Deal At Bolton Wanderers

32 year old Stephen Ireland has signed a short term deal until January 2019, with Bolton Wanderers.
after suffering a double leg break while playing with Stoke City, he's looking to get his career back on, a
    free agent since June 2018.

    Good player but double leg
break not good with his age as well.

Roly, at least Bolton are showing intent to better their current league position.

There are a raft of ex Premier/Championship players out there that are out of contract, so able to be signed. However, and it's a big however, a lot are yesterdays men and not the younger player Warne is looking for.

Thing is does pride rule your head or the aim to survive? These are the type of players that could probably get you higher in the league.

They are brin but warne will consider wages/ fitness and good guyness before he signs anybody. He could probably risk somebody on a short term contract to see if they come up to scratch.

Roly, the 'good guyness' is becoming embarrassing now. This is the point I'm referring to with Warne's possible choice of a good footballer but they may carry some baggage but, not enough to be a dressing room disruption.

WLB. Billy Sharpe the player we were looking to take on loan this season but the Blades said no. ''You take him on lock stock and barrel or don't bother'. Allegedly £400,000 to buy but his big wage demands of £10,000 a week stopped anything progressing.

Like you say, 7 goals and counting.

Has warne come out and said we’re not signing or attempting to sign him brin because he’s not a good guy?
Personally I don’t think Warne can win.
We have enough injured players without taking any more on.
If we signed him then he gets injured straight away Warne would get slaughtered on here.

I think the statement about wanting to sign good human beings only gets used against him when we’re on a losing run.
Not many disagreed with him when he got us promoted last year.

Get back to the happy clapping pal you know it makes sense 😊

If a new man can score or create goals I'd be willing to take on a dog strangler. (and offer him counselling of course).
