    Travel Advice Thread

There have been occasions when people have asked for advice so why not a thread. Also because I have a question

When I get back from this tip I'm going to be heading to Cappielow as part of my lower league hike. We have Killie away on the Sunday so I'm planning on staying down and taking Pac Jnr to Rugby Park too.

Can anyone advise on anywhere reasonably close to Kilmarnock to stay(if not Kilmarnock itself). Nice hotel where we could get a good munch and even a nice wander about in the morning before heading to the fitba?

I know f@ck all about down that neck of the woods

    Cheers in advance

Kilmarnock is dire and so is everywhere around it.

Except maybe Largs. So stay in Largs.

You would be doing well to find two bigger sh1teholes than Greenock & Kilmarnock. Stay somewhere else

Ill go for Aldos suggestion of Largs then

    Cheers for that

I have plenty of sh@teholes still to visit during my daft challenges ive set myself. Especially the "Every team to win the Scottish Junior Cup in my life" een. (Largs Thistle are on that list) . Kilwinning, Shotts, Beith. Camelon wasn't the nicest either

I'm heading to Airdrie v East Fife on the 17th of Nov too

Take the bairn to the viking museum.
    That's in Largs isn't it?

If you take the bairn to the chipper, one black pudding supper is enough.
You get 2 black puddings......who the hell can eat 2 black puddings?

Definitely avoid Greenock, it's a ****ehole. Just drive straight through it, but watch out for speed traps.

Gourock is OK, so is Largs. Is that Italian ice cream shop in Largs still there?

Their captain, and scorer on the day, works with me, although from his hoose in the Central Belt. He drops in about once a month. Good lad.

His desk is at the other end of the office, where 3 out of 4 of the staff played for Huntly. 😳
