    Here's a totally mad idea...

    Usain bolt turned down Maltese champs. Hes a forward. He'll be fit, says he gets on with the guys might not costtoo much wage wise if he wants to make his way in footy.
    Will put bums on seats.

    Yep mad idea.He wants £1.63 million.Warney could pay 6 free transfer wages & a dog for that much money.

    ..thats that idea knacked then...its a bit cheeky asking for that sort of money when he aint even proved himself as a footy player.

    Someone might take him on as a publicity stunt, but no more too it than that. He's no footballer really and his 'pace' would be of little value. There's a world of difference between the pace needed to run 100 metres quickly and the pace needed to get to a ball 10 yards away and do something useful with it when you get there. Plenty of players would be 'faster' in footballing terms.

    True. In footballing terms I bet Bobby W was much faster than Bolt over those first 10 yards when you take into account where to be, where to go, and what to do when you got there.

    Dont think so. You need to be a full international from outside the EU.
