Has this game come at the wrong time for us ? or can we do what England did against Spain and get something ?

I'm not writing us off Alto.

Realistically they would be favorites to beat every team in the Prem at home, but we have had two draws out of the three Prem matches at theirs.

It's a free shot for us and I wouldn't be surprised if we get a decent result.

...but then they haven't lost a home PL game so far this season....in fact they haven't lost any PL game yet this season - but hey - that 'could' all change come Saturday.....well it's not impossible - is it ?

Not too sure when the right time would be.

After they had been out on the booze for 48 hours previously?
Just lost 15 players following a trip to Loch Ness with no further sighting of them?
Just before our game had it announced that they were not going to be paid for the rest of the season?
Had 12 hamstring injuries during warm-up?
Or we had agreed to play that game two weeks after the season has ended?

Any of those would be good...

Cheer up blueheeler1. Like Supersub6 constantly reminds us, it's only a game!

I see this game as being a true reflection on where we are compared to last season. The 2 matches last year were not one sided and I hope we can do the same tomorrow. However after witnessing our dire performances this season both in attack and defence I tend to think even damage limitation will be impossible against City who have only got better since we last played them.
I predict a massive drubbing.Maybe then will we realise we need to invest in the squad in January.
