Blackburn Rovers - v - Leeds United ***Matchday Thread***

Leeds United travel to Blackburn Rovers in the Sky Bet Championship on Saturday (12:00pm), knowing victory could take the Whites back to the top of the table.* Rovers who were promoted from League One at the first attempt last season, have had a solid start to life back in the Championship, losing just twice so far in the division.

    Head coach/manager

    Blackburn Rovers: Tony Mowbray*

    Leeds United: Marcelo Bielsa

    League position

    Blackburn Rovers: 10th

    Leeds United: 3rd

    Recent form

    Blackburn Rovers: WLDLW

    Leeds United: WLDWD

    Top scorer

    Blackburn Rovers: Bradley Dack (8)

Leeds United: Kemar Roofe/Mateusz Klich (4)

    Draws: 23

    Leeds United wins: 44

    Last time at Ewood Park

    Wednesday 1st February 2017

    Sky Bet Championship

    Blackburn Rovers 1 (Bennett 84)

    Leeds United 2 (Dallas 74, Jansson 89)

Rovers:*Steele, Greer, Williams, Lowe, Feeney, Graham, Mulgrew, Gallagher, Nyambe, Lenihan, Bennett.* Subs not used: Raya, Joao, Guthrie, Tomlinson, Mahoney, Brown, Conway.

Leeds:*Green, Ayling, Bartley, Jansson, Berardi, Bridcutt, O'Kane, Roofe (Doukara 61), Sacko (Hernandez 46), Dallas, Wood.* Subs not used: Silvestri, Antonsson, Doukara, Hernandez, Phillips, Vieira, Coyle.

    Team news

Marcelo Bielsa will be without Luke Ayling who serves a one match suspension, whilst Barry Douglas and Jack Harrison are out of the match due to injury.* The Leeds head coach has confirmed that Gaetano Berardi, Pablo Hernandez and Kemar Roofe will all return.**

    The key battle

    Bradley Dack v Liam Cooper

After firing 19 goals and helping Rovers win promotion last season, Dack has made the step up to Championship level seem easy and has already netted eight goals for Rovers in all competitions this season.* Leeds captain and centre back Liam Cooper will be looking to prevent him from adding to that tally.

    *
    0 - 2 to the Whites.

What would you rather have? Leeds playing the way we and not taking our chances or like boring efficient M'boro and racking up the points?

Really hope we get back on the trail today(obviously), Blackburn are doing well and we can't be giving silly free kicks if Charlie Magrew plays.
