    22 years ago today we were beating Man United 5-0.such a great side we had with players worthy of the shirt,look at our side now .

    I wonder if Sir John knew then what he knows now of Ashley, I don't think he would have ever gone into negotiation with him.

    I think he would have, but that is just my opinion of John Hall.

    I honesty don't think he would if in hind sight he had seen what a stupid, greedy, selfish disaster Ashley was going to turn into.

    I think he would have waited a while until a real owner turned up with an offer and not the idiotic prat which did.

    Ashley didn't turn, he already was. Hall wanted to sell fast.
