Carrying on from the previous post, we'd just be fed the narrative that the club is a victim of circumstance so the debt would prevent us from investing in the team.

...when actually the truth is more like a lack of investment in the team continually leads us to the upheaval of relegation.

I remember ranting in the thread about "big teams". A key criteria before you try to slap that label on your chest is that you have to spend big. BIG.

When it comes to spending we are minnows. This is borne out by the quality of football we play.

If you think this is all bullsh? ....look at the table.

They haven't the gumption to see that all of the owners of clubs below us and the owners of the three promoted clubs invested above us whilst the fat slug only took money out of the club instead of backing the manager.
Spurs and Chelsea played in flip flops , in reality we narrowly avoided relegation

    Brighton 12th, ELEVEN POINTS

    Newcastle United 20th, TWO POINTS

DOES THAT ANSWER ONE OF THE MOST STUPID QUESTIONS ASKED ON HERE.

I didn't ask if Brighton were in a better league position. I asked if they were a better squad than we are.
Now do you see why it doesn't answer the question.

No. I asked a question and you gave an answer that wasn't acceptable to me.

Well Brighton have 5and a1/2 more points than us and eight places above us with almost a quarter of the season gone.

Is that plain enough and would you say if the positions were reversed then we would have a better squad than Brighton.

And when ever was all coal mined a pure white?

Ok, so by that logic we can accept that Bournemouth have a better squad than Man Utd, right?
