    What if?...

There’s not a lot negative being said about the prodigal son Craig Bryson at the moment, and having just watched the sky broadcast of the game there were two interesting comments made. First, FL told CB early doors he was wanted and in the team, and second, we failed last year partly through lack of ‘legs’

My question is, if Rowett had kept CB in the team, with his phenomenal work rate and clear affection for them club, rather than write him off and ship him out, would we be rattling round in the Premier Leaguevnow?

    Anyone?

I doubt it and for me Bryson still has a lot to prove fitness wise. His ‘availability’ record hasn’t been good over the last four years and anyway, looking at the struggles that appear to lie ahead for Cardiff and Fulham I’m quietly relieved we didn’t fluke our way up. Cardiff are scrappers but Fulham were much better than us last season and now look seriously out of their depth.

I would hope we would have failed last season, with or without CB. Promtion would mean we still had Rowettball to watch each week....

Having said that, I think Rowettball would have been more successful than Fulhamball has been this season so far.

Spot on, the gulf has become even more apparent this time. Cardiff v Fulham was an October 6 pointer. Only big spending wolves have adapted. Fulham have surprised me, leaking goals for fun. Be amazed if Cardiff stay up.
