Mike Ashley must be happy with benitez

He must be happy or he would have sacked him or is it ash doesñt want to pay the remainder of rafas contract up cos he's leaving at the end of the season.if it's because he doesn't want to pay him off he values a couple of million more than premier League survival

He doesn't want to sack him because it will come out of the next lump sum that he due to take out for himself. It said when it came out about this payment that other payments would be due shortly for his fake loan.
Plus he knows it's cheaper to get relegated, spend a little to come back up than spend to stay in the Premier League.
McClown only got money the season he did because the new TV deal was due the following year.He wanted a slice of that but we all know what happened.
He is playing a risky game this time though. If we go down we will not come straight back up.There is money down in the Championship now and he won't be the only one willing to spend.

If he pays off Rafa it might not leave the 23 million he plans on taking out
