If you listened to the managers comments after last week's game you will have heard him give his reasons for dropping Semple to the bench, I was surprised he was dropped but understood after hearing what Naysmith said.

So do we take the manager at his word and see Semple back over the next couple of games?

    I hope so.

With Falkirk's confidence surely fragile it is important that we are fast out of the blocks and put them on the back foot as soon as possible. Harkins is a big miss from the creativity point of view so others will be needed to plug that gap. Sterling will hopefully be on his game today as we need his direct running towards their defence to cause the panic required to create spaces for the front two. Important week for Queens and if we can gather the full six points then we will be in a great position to challenge for those play off. spots.

Good 3 points last week from not a great game but a very important win and sets us up nicely for these 2 home games.

Today will be interesting as we should hopefully be back to attacking football looking to beat a poor Falkirk side quite comfortable if we score early but if we let Falkirk score first then that would give them some confidence that could then make this more tricky to get the win we should be looking for from this match.

    Come on Queens!

This is bad. Missed penalty sums it up. A point here will be a bonus..... don't bet on it!

Game of two halves. Hopeless containment football first half which was horrible to watch, but served its purpose. Second half more attack minded which was deserved with two simply lovely quickfire goals. Never seen that coming. Over the 90 mins better team. Mon the South!

Today's attendance of 1,463 is the lowest I can ever remember at home against Falkirk. Normally we get one of our better crowds of the season against them, they must have brought a poor following today.
