    Molineux redevelopment.

It was mentioned last season, that the club were looking into either moving from their current home, or developing Molineux. After a quiet few months, the subject is now back on the table, with the Chief Executive revealing that the Architects are confident that the site has the capacity to increase the size of the stadium to 50,000. Talks are ongoing with the Council and other interested parties.

All the home games this season have been sold out and it would appear that there is a waiting list of 2500 for season tickets. If the team continues to make progress in the Premier League then a 50,000 capacity stadium will be needed.

We are currently sitting 12th on the average attendance lists for the Prem this season. Exciting times at Wolves.

I can see us drawing 35,000 or so but 40-50,000 is a bit of a stretch for me. A real revolution in the clubs standing would have to take place as well as a significant improvement in social conditions in the area. Neither of which is impossible of course. We shall see.

Woodlands, we don't just draw from Wolverhampton as you know. Massive developments at Telford, and traditionally a large following from Stafford all help to swell the numbers. We have many supporters from Mid Wales as well as Worcestershire and Warwickshire, plus other areas as can be seen from the supporters banners. You never know, with continued success we may even get a few from Sandwell!

I guess you are right mate. When I started watching the Wolves Telford didn't exist! But aren't these people from Worcs etc already watching us? Perhaps as we become [hopefully] more successful their numbers will grow.

    Sandwell! Forget it.

Woodlands, if you draw a fifty mile circle around Wolverhampton, we are the only Premier League team in that area.
