    Agree with Dundeeunitedfc about draws.
While we're not in a bad position the early setbacks have left us playing catchup although there's still a long way to go.
We do need to be winning our home games to make away draws ok.
Dunfermline is an away game we could do with winning though if you assume that Ayr and Ross are going to maintain the pace set.

The difference now is that I think we have a manager who will know the opposition weaknesses and set us up to win games.

There is already a wee gap though between us and some of the teams above. I know it's still pretty early days but feels like we are coming into a critical period over the next 5 games. Our fixtures are:

    Dunfermline A
    QOS H
    Ross County A
    Alloa H
    Ayr H

Feels to me like we need to win all of those home games and take something from the away games to really put down a marker.

Personally I think we should be looking for 13 points out of these games but an absolute minimum of 11. My heart says 15 points but it's bee n a while since we won 5 in a row so need to be realistic!

    What's everyone's thoughts?
Well done Robbie and all the team. Great support yesterday, great result, the relationship between the players and the fans could definitely put some points on the board for us this season. Two goals clean sheet looks like we're building something at last.

Let's look to take all 3 v QOS before thinking about the trip to Dingwall.

if Utd are to reach the summit, at some point they are going to have to do something they have been incapable of doing so far in the championship, go on a winning run of 4-5 games. I think the biggest hurdle to that is our defence, we struggle to get shut outs, that back-line has no pace. Keepers have been suspect too, that was Siegrist's best game, so maybe with a run in the first team he might grow into the role.

QOS are a better proposition at home. I find them to be quite a limited side when at tannadice but then we don’t always beat them! Hopefully a win there to keep up momentum

Ross County away is a massive 6 pointer.

We need to win that or at least not get beat if we are ever going to catch them

QOS are a funny side. At times they can be very dangerous especially with Dobbie on form. But other times they play poorly and get beaten easily.
Hope for the latter when we play them and some momentum for the County game.

I'm not too concerned about midweek, we played our mid week fixture early and have the 3 pts in the bag v Partick

Main thing is trying to improve our home record starting Saturday against QOTS

Incidentally we have one of the best away records in world football so far this season somehow and the fun pretty much the worst home record in the world

What you said about Ross County being a 6 pointer is spot on.
If we're going to win the league it looks like they are the team to beat so let's get up there and beat them. The gap could and probably will change, they have derby with ICT shortly too.

Sounds simple I know but if we can just focus on taking 3 points from every opponent we face home OR away.
