    takeover well underway?

has anyone else heard anything about a takeover being almost complete? (fingers crossed)

a close friend of mine works for an engineering firm as a tank erector and he always works away (Ryal or Rydal engineering or something like that) . He has just come back from a 6 month stint in the middle east building oil tanks. He reckons its common knowledge over there that the takeover of Nufc is almost complete. 2 wealthy families from the gulf have got to the final stages in the process and that is why Mike has become more involved. They are reluctant to complete the purchase if we are in relegation trouble and they want Rafa to remain in charge. None of the people involved are Stavely or that Kenyon bloke.
I am having a few pints tonight with him so will get as much info as possible.

    Interesting if true.

Any real take over would be done on the quiet not out in public like the other alleged ones.

Ashley has suddenly got more involved so maybe something in it.

    Here is hoping anyway.

You couldn't wish for a devil much worse that Ashley Kev. If it's true at least this lot will spend a few pounds instead of losing sleep over a few pennies.

We shouldn't waste any energy or emotion on this one.

There is nobody waiting to free us of the slug.

Simply because, he will not engage in professional negotiations with anybody that shows an interest.

He is rude to them and he simply does not wish to sell.
