    The goal that never was

    As far as I can see , the goalie didnt have the ball under control and certainly not in his hands. Why was this dissallowed ? Are you not allowed to challenge for a loose ball after keeper saves the penalty ?

    I wouldn't reckon so, as 9 times out of 10 rebounds from penalties count but I'm unaware of the ruling. Whatever the interpretation, the goal was disallowed and Dobbie remains on 199 career goals.

    Undoubtedly the goal was disallowed because the ref felt the keeper had the ball under his control. It`s a marginal decision at best

    It’s a goal for me. Wrong decision by the referee IMO
