There are just games like this and they did to us what we did to Dunfermline. Harkins now doubt would have made a difference but we just have to take this on the chin as we played well enough and regroup for the next game. It certainly bunches up the middle of the table making things very interesting.

Looking at the league table I never realised there was such a gap between Ayr and Ross County to the teams from 3rd to 6th, then a further gap to 7th and beyond.

A right kick in the cojones after dominating for long periods but got to say well done to the 18 year old 'Ton player
making his first start for his club with that beautifully hit winner. November's fixtures look difficult to see where
points can be picked up but you never know in this dog eat dog league.

Teams will all be taking points off each other throughout the season.

Yep that`s generally how it works
To be serious though, your point is well made with an example last night being that a thus far abject Falkirk team managed a point off the league leaders, thus causing them to lose top spot.

Exactly my point. Before the run of the last three games Queens realistically would have perhaps lost at Dunfermline, won over Falkirk and drawn with Morton, so four points. To have 6 from 9 points isn't too bad, although 7 or 9 would've been better.

Have listened to Naysmiths interview now and I cant disagree with anything he said . We took the game to Morton straight away and indeed gave them a second half battering only to still lose . Barring the obvious end result , I thought we were a great watch last night. If the team can get near to that level of performance more often then we will do well come season end.
