    Merkel

Could the unthinkable be happening in Germany? The party that is helping to keep her in power is virtually collapsing and she is looking very vulnerable. Interesting times in Europe and not just brexit.

Merkel is finished, the Right is on the march, enough is enough.....Italy, Austria, Poland and Hungary have had enough, now Germany , the Powerhouse of Europe? is faltering.....Macron is tottering and the UK is leaving......the Socialist Empire of Europe is dead.....Long Live Proper Democracy (the lefties are crying into their hankies).....have a look at Venezuela, it's pathetic that right-minded, sane people believe that Socialism-Communism is the way forward.......people are starving there, eating their pets ffs....but some of the do-gooders are on here every day bleating about "more money for the underdog, more money for LGBT, more money for blacks, more support for immigrants, more support for Women's Rights"....then, Voila, THE CASH RUNS OUT and their whole pathetic deck of cards collapses...and they cannot understand why?

Guess what, I have a field of carrots, potatoes, tomatoes, onions and cabbage, 9 goats and 5 sheep, all surrounded by barbed wire (seriously)......if I give it away to "outsiders" like a lunicide, then I starve......I refuse to starve, so I protect what I have......maybe some on here need to toughen up?

Both the parties in German Chancellor Angela Merkel's governing coalition have suffered heavy losses in a regional election, early results show.

Her centre-right CDU party and the centre-left SPD were each 10% down on the previous election in Hesse state.

SPD leader Andrea Nahles said the federal government's poor performance had "significantly" contributed to the disappointing result.

She told reporters the state of the government was "unacceptable".

It's even worse. The most toxic far right candidate has just swept the board in Brazil.
If the Mexican goatherd thinks that lurching to the far right will answer anyone's prayers about the state of the world he needs to watch this space. The world will become an infinitely worse place because the right will serve the rich and powerful, crush the rest and rig the democracy when it threatens their rule. History has taught us that.
People are desperate because they see a world in which they are not getting their fair share so they turn to an authoritarian regime which makes all kinds of false promises which will only be honoured at great cost to democracy.
Don't worry, Beechy, the pendulum will swing.
And btw, why is it all right for you to spout on about politics whilst slagging me off every time I post anything remotely political?

    (GIGGLE)
    Now now Sid. "Remotely political"?
90% of your posts are spring loaded politically. Not that I mind, I think they are funny. But please don't deny it.
    It's subliminal programming.
