Thread: Fresh start?

    Fresh start?

A change back to 4-4-2 and - shock - actually trying to play some football...will it last?

Hard to know if it's the start of something fresh from us or if St Mirren are just so awful even we looked competent. Cadden's was a superb team goal, outstanding.

    Still nervous about Saturday!

With the amount of goals Dundee have lost recently I fully expect them on Saturday to have every man behind the ball. Hoping to frustrate us and hit on the break like a lot of visiting teams do at Fir Park. A point would be a good result for them at present. We need to go out and play with a belief that we can take all three points. We don’t need to get involved with a high balls, physical game.Keep it on the deck and play high tempo attacking football and IMO we are more than capable of beating Dundee particularly if we get the all important first goal COYW

We put three past Dundee last time and could have had several more. Their recent form suggests their defence hasn't improved.

We need to stay calm and pass the ball. If the fans get too twitchy too soon, there's a risk we'll end up thumping it aimlessly and we'll be in a negative circle again.

If ever we needed an early goal to settle the nerves, Saturday is it.
