    So far, we've had

Toots (foot for 2 or 3 games, then taken off precautionary v Swindon which cost us the game IMO), Stead yesterday (no idea why), Duffers (strapped up like an Egyptian mummy), Dennis (injured before the season started and has never looked fit, or capable)...now Ozzie (played 1 part game, so did he get injured in training or in a reserve game?)....have I missed anyone?

I thought we had one of the best "fitness and backroom staff....with state-of-the-art facilities"?

    It's lucky we've got a huge squad.
Bigger squad = naturally more injuries as more players, 5 injuries amongst a squad of 30+ in months isn't anything unusual

Errrrr, not sure Carlton....take out Ozzie for a minute, and you'll find that the other 4 are all from, what most of us would have assumed pre-season was, our starting line-up......Stead you could argue was supposed to be back-up for Dennis (it's ended out the other way around)....so instead of 5 out of 30 injured , it's more like 4 out of 15 1st team players

Dennis should be 'back- up' in Chesterfield.

Why 15 1st team players? The squad is the squad and injury can happen to any player. Tootle and Duffy injury happened in League matches, that can't be helped

Crawford a first team player all day for me,went to the Middlesbrough game and he was excellent in that!,apparently he got injured in a U18’s game a while ago during HK arriving then hasn’t had a sniff since??named as sub for a few U23 games?bit disrespectful that unless he’s lost his legs somewhere??Anyone else seen him play?.

Hall is the main injury we’ve had - brought back from Brighton, and then a groin strain seems to have out kept him out for over 3 months. Very odd.

I actually think we’ve been lucky with injuries - other than Hall, it’s basically only been Tootle and Duffy since the season started. And everyone saw the Duffy injury as a blessing in disguise given his wretched form.

Because we have such a big squad, players do disappear into the Bermuda Triangle. Kellett, for example. And Crawford isn’t even making it into the development league side - he was on the bench against Leeds, and didn’t get off the bench in our Newcastle defeat in the Checkatrade.

What position does Declan Dunn play? If he’s a centre half, that would mean we had four on the bench against Port Vale.

Just watched it on YouTube - great pass, but he had all the time in the world to float it over the last defender. Elliott Hewitt also played one great pass in the game on Saturday, setting up a half-chance for Hemmings; doesn’t really mean anything if they do nothing for the rest of the game, like Hewitt.

Not sure how much Curtis Thompson is playing for Wycombe, but we could do with someone with his energy when he had that great little spell when he moved from right back to midfield a few years ago.

Checked the stats and Crawford and Patching are both 6 footers. Very disappointing starts for both of them at Notts, assuming they’re on 2-year contracts (apparently we even paid a fee for Crawford). You’d think Patching would be a HK type of player given his pedigree, but something’s obviously not working if they can’t even get a place on the bench.
