    That could also be a reciprocal comment from Saints fans to us, especially if Mr Hughes becomes a free agent around the same time a certain vacancy may pop up. He’s in that pool of managers who clubs our size get linked with, Hodgson, Pulis, Pardew, Bruce, Hughes etc.

    Big Dave would never be in that pool of managers as part of the reason he was appointed was it was the cheap option - no doubt he will be on a fraction of what Pulis/Pardew were on! We always take the cheap option!

    In the running in so much as he is an experienced manager with top flight experience. I doubt they will opt for him.
