    Honest Men vs. Doonhamers

Queens travel to South Ayrshire to play Ayr United in the South West Scotland Derby.
Last time out Queens won 5-0 at Palmerston with Dobbie bagging 4 goals. Ayr were league leaders then and are top again.
It will be interesting to see if Naysmith changes some of the personnel from listing the same starting line-up over the last few games or so.
Queens recent record has been DDWWLL

Mr Naysmith needs to set up the team to attack. Take the game to them , look what happened last time

In terms of changes. from my point of view, if fitness allows, then Leighfield, Semple and Harkins should all start.

queens are a totally different prospect without harkins in the team ,any blind man can see that ,we need him back as fast as possible .

Francis you are absolutely right about needing Harkins back, but with regards to his speed, he can only go as fast as his legs will allow!

Hopefully with Harkins getting a run out vs. Dundee Utd he'll be back in contention to start against his previous employers on Saturday...

Hopefully Queens will be more on the front foot for this game although I do fear that Naysmith tendency to over analyse the opposition rather than to play to our obvious attacking strengths may once again prevail. Onwards and upwards Mon the South.

Sounds like there’s a decent support heading up this Saturday

Hopefully Queens do the business for the fans travelling up to Ayrshire as the bookies have got Ayr odds - on to win
and Mr Naysmith in today's Standard is quoted as saying '' Make no mistake - Ayr are favourites for this game ''

Bet365 have Ayr at 4/5, Queens at 16/5 and the draw at 11/4

Great game day as all I heard from the Ayr fans this week is that they will get revenge and I really hope they don`t as next week will be awful.

I would like to see Harkins & Semple back in the starting line up today to give Queens the best opportunity to come away with something from the game.

    Come on Queens!

Dogged performance with Murray scoring literally ten seconds after coming on. Just as it looked like we were going to lose. Wasn't great to watch but it was twenty times better than the Dunfermline show and we got something there as well. Decent day out. Great away support

Ayr were dominant with 64% possession
    18 shots to 5
9 shots on target to 3
    11 corners to 3

Michael Rose scores from a second consecutive corner from the opposite side, as he was unmarked in the 75th minute.
Connor Murray scores with his first touch in the 81st minute, after just appearing as a sub moments before, as the ball fell to him in the penalty area.

Unsure whether Norman of Queens or Murdoch of Ayr was booked in the 80th minute? Some reports are conflicting...
