    Neilson contract

I believe this only to end of next season.

I think we have seen enough of Robbie’s attitude and ability to see that we want to extend his contract a bit longer.

I’m already scared that when the Scotland job come up or job with old firm etc that he’ll be on his way.

Makes sense to extend his contract while we still can and show faith in what he is doing

Love what he's done so far but there's no way Celtic or the rangers would look to him as their new manager in the near future

Whilst I think Neilson has something about him, any talk of extending his contract is far too premature. There will be plenty of time for that if and when his objective of winning promotion is met.

If he does turn out to the real deal, I can see him doing what McInnes has done and sticking around for a few years. He’s an intelligent guy and having already made the jump down south and being stung, he won’t be in a rush to do so again anytime soon. If he was to move, it means he’s been successful and club will be a more attractive proposition for managers than when we appointed the last 3 duds.

Whoah whoah whoah there cowboy. Neilson has made a good start and so far that is it. So did Csaba, and thank gawd we didn't extend his contract.

FWIW, I have a good feeling about RN but let's take it game at a time and see where it takes us.

Let's start by besting one of the teams above us this weekend, which we haven't managed yet this season.

I believe RN best work will be next season. Its a blessing we were not promoted last season with a deluded manager, look at st. Mirren a bang average side with a good manager ( cue sunderland ) as opposed to a decent side poor manager. We will get stronger but its the playoff's for me ( Dundee anyone ) and we will handle it better if we go up. Neilsons contract will sort itself out ...

😂 I think you can tell pretty quickly if it’s working. Never did I feel I wanted Csaba to hang around longer.

I’d put faith in RN who is also taking time to watch all academy games and encourage youth to come through.

A decent release clause and then if he does go at least we get compensated and would mean he’s only going somewhere decent if he does go.

I agree re above that he does seem determined to stick around at united and create something special.

The difference made in just 4 matches is excellent. Roll on Saturday

Like most I feel we are on to a good thing with RN but a contract extension would suit all parties in the summer, if we are promoted.
On the subject I would like wee McMullan getting a new deal and Safranko signed permanently asap.
