When did that change; I always thought it was 3000'?

Way back when I was youn as well as daft - best guess probably around 1984 or 85 - a gang of us had ridden motorbikes up to Glencoe and were camping there and thought it'd be fun to see in the New Year at the top of Ben Nevis; I think there were nine of us trudged our way to the top on a cold sleet filled afternoon/evening, I remember it being as black as a coal miner's arse long before we reached the top. We enjoyed a top party in that orange emergency shelter at the summit, but were woken up at about 08:00 by a bunch of 'serious' Munro baggers who were somewhat peed off to discover that a bunch of hairy-arsed bikers had undermined their plan of being 'first to the top'. To ease their pain we passed a couple of the remaining bottles around and conceded that as we'd ascended in the previous year, then they were still first.

Just getting back to topic on this.
Did anyone else notice that Jimmy Dunne had left the Ireland squad earlier this week because he is also eligible to play for Northern Ireland and it is not certain which he would choose. He could play for either in a friendly but once he plays in a competitive game for one or the other then that would be his international country. Confusing isn't it?
