    Doctor Who

    I like the actress who plays the Doctor and I think she is a good one, but the story lines in this new series are terrible and over the top PC.
    Companions;
    Asian Muslim police officer
    Black bloke with some kind of disability
    Token white middle aged bloke who was married to a black woman.

    Story lines include the treatment of Rosa Parkes and soon to be screened the treatment of the Indian split by the British Raj,
    Doctor Who should be about fantasy not a history lesson!

    I like her too, but don't like the way tht she's portraying The Doctor. I must admit to having slept through parts of the last two.

    Yes, the BBC has been going that way for years now, you only have to see any news programme to see that (considering ethnics account for 12% of the UK population) these programmes are over subscribed with the ethnic minorities.

    And Doctor Who is not a kids programme either it's real life.

    Yes, they were evil, and I always thought the Cyber men were called Cider Men and came from Somerset (or Dorset or something)

    I look at her and think, she's got all the attributes to be a beautiful lady, blonde hair, nice face and slim figure etc, but somehow it doesn't go together and I don't fancy her (and it ain't her yorkshire accent either)

    She's very easy on the eye, Barbles, and I would, but I find the way that she is dressed in this series, and the way in which she portrays The Doctor is childish. It's in the way that she interacts with others mainly. I'm not sure whether she's acting to instructions or whether it's her decision but it doesn't work for me.

    I also agree that the show has got too pc for my liking. It's got to thestage now where I'd fall off my chair if someone turned up in the Tardis that DIDN'T have issues.

    I started watching the old Doctor Who's on I player this week (Christopher Eccleston ones) to remind me and they are a different class to ones going out now, there is action and a decent story line instead of the drivel and attempted brainwashing from the present series
